It is also remarkable that this company has, after many efforts,

succeeded in receiving from the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs permission

for ex USSR Navy support vessels to call Piraeus roads and to be supplied from VESTALCO with all necessary victualling for the vessels of the ex USSR Navy employed in the Mediterranean Sea (1985-1992).

After 1995, VESTALCO focused on supplying vessels of Greek interests, but at the same time continued to cooperate with selected companies from ex USSR Republics (NOVOROSSIYSK SHIPPING CO, CASPIAN SHIPPING, UKRAINIAN DANUBE SHIPPING CO, VIVAL MARINE, KAALBYE, SUDOSERVICE, etc).
